This Scottish-inspired coat will chase away the chill and is designed so you can customize your length. This striking overcoat is accessorized with contrasting cuffs, collar, striped hem, and waist details. An unusual button closure secures the jacket in a contrasting color around the waist. The coat is made in pieces and then seamed together.
This piece is worked back and forth without joining. A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches. The upper body and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up and assembled before the waistband/belt and skirt are picked up and worked from the top down. Select your favorite two colors of Woolstok Tweed and cast-on.
